Die Jahresringe sind deutlich erkennbar und geben ihm eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Maserung, die durch sehr feine oder breite Strahlen gepr\u00e4gt ist. Wird das Holz diagonal zum Stamm geschnitten, entstehen zungenf\u00f6rmige &#8220;Fladern&#8221; in der Maserung.
